About the Author

Vivian Robinson’s PhD in physics was followed by 15 years post-doctoral experience in academia. During those years, he developed products that world experts said would never work. He left academia to exploit them. His over 30 years of high technology, industrial experience changed an industry for the better. It also enhanced his inquiring mind’s knowledge of common sense. He applied common sense and his maths and physics skills to be the first person to understand the physics of Einstein’s relativity theories. He both simplified the mathematics to mid undergraduate level and improved their accuracy. Those tasks eluded the world’s best mathematicians, physicists and philosophers for over 100 years.

He used the same astute common sense approach to re-evaluate aspects of fundamental physics and humanity’s social progress (ISBN 9780645412550). It presents the universe in a logical continuity from its smallest sub-atomic particles to its large scale structure. It uses only three space dimensions, time and known physical principle, supported by the necessary mathematics. More details available at www.universephysics.com. His physics findings are published in “The Common Sense Universe”.

He caters for those who want to know something about the universe without the mathematical complexity by “Introducing the Logical Universe” (XLIBRIS)

Logical common sense principles apply in all fields of endeavour, provided they are based on valid facts. His study of the social sciences involved extensive reading of human history and beliefs, now called religions, going back several thousand years. The attitudes of the people who caused the events were as important as the events’ outcomes.

“The Rise and Fall of Common Sense” covers of the important aspects of humanity’s social progress.
